Frequently Asked Questions

Click on "REGISTER" at the top right, fill in all required fields, and click register. After registration, you will receive an SMS on your provided mobile number that you must enter to confirm and verify your created account. You can then log in to the website with your username and password to place bids.

As a company, you are required to provide your VAT number. For an individual, a VAT number is not applicable.

On the lot or the list of lots, you can mark your favorite lot with the "heart".

Click on "User Account" at the top right. This will take you to your account where you can view your lots. The live section is intended for quicker bidding on your favorite ongoing online lots.

Merged lots are lots offered in grouped form. Only when the combined lot is larger than the sum of the individual lots, it is awarded to the highest bidder of the combined lot.

Before you can bid, you must be logged in and have an account on our website. On the lot or in your client portal, you will find the bidding column. Enter a bid and the costs (buyer's premium and VAT) will be automatically calculated for you. Then click confirm to finalize your bid.

You can bid in 2 ways on a lot: A static bid: You manually place a bid on a lot. If you are outbid, you have the option to place a higher bid yourself.

With a proxy bid, you specify a maximum amount that you are willing to pay for a specific lot. This amount remains confidential. The system monitors the bidding activity and will automatically place the lowest possible bid to outbid a third party. This process continues until your specified maximum bid is reached. Only if someone else places a higher bid than your proxy bid, you are outbid and no longer the highest bidder. Note: if you place a second proxy bid on your already placed first proxy bid, the system will also consider your second proxy bid as a bid placed by a third party and you will bid against yourself !!

If a proxy bid is set on a lot and a static bid is placed that is equal to the proxy bid, the proxy bid takes priority over the static bid.

The buyer's premium is the auction costs percentage calculated on your bid. VAT must be paid on these costs.

No, your bid is binding and CANNOT be canceled. Make sure you know what you are bidding on; we organize viewing days so you can see the items you are bidding on.

Viewing days are organized for each auction. Dates, location, ... are available in the auction's general information. We advise you to take advantage of this opportunity to inspect the goods. We sell the goods in the condition they are in.

Each auction closes on a predetermined day and time, indicated for each auction. If a bid is placed in the last 5 minutes before the end time of a lot, the time is extended by 5 minutes. (right of higher bid) We recommend that you monitor your lots in your client portal at the end of the auction to follow them live.

If the word "suspended" suddenly appears on a lot, it means that the lot can no longer be sold. There is usually a third-party ownership reserve. We only suspend lots at the request of a curator, lawyer, notary, bailiff, or principal.

Each auction has a fixed collection day (or more). You can only collect your lot(s) on this day and during these times. You will receive your lot(s) only upon presentation of the document sent by email. Even if the lots have not been paid yet, you will only receive your lots after payment or presentation of proof of payment. Each payment order must be executed within 24 hours of approval by the client.

In case of non-payment or non-collection, you may receive an email stating that your account has been placed in inactive mode. This is because you have disregarded several emails received from us and have not complied with our terms and conditions. Typically, these accounts are placed in inactive mode by a bailiff. From then on, your file is handled by the bailiff, and you can no longer claim your unpaid purchased items. However, the invoice still needs to be settled! Your account may also be placed in inactive mode if you enter false personal information.

If you are unable to collect your lots on the collection day, we prefer to be informed in advance. By not being present on the collection day, additional costs may be charged to you (see our terms and conditions). We do not move for free; personnel must be paid, storage costs money,...

Under "Register", you can request a new password. Enter your email address to receive a new password. After entering this password, it is possible to create and/or change a new password yourself.

Once you have created an account, you still need to enter the code received via your mobile number to activate your account. Without this action, you cannot bid.
